The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Georgia welcomes individuals and groups of volunteers to help us inspire and enable young people. Volunteers act as adult role models and can contribute on many levels. The gift of a volunteer’s time and talents is very much appreciated.
Volunteers may serve individually or in small groups. With the input of the Club directors, volunteers may participate in individual volunteer activities and/or assist with special events at the Clubs. Each volunteer applicant will need to fill out an application/background check. Applications available at Club sites.
In addition to working with Club members, the following volunteer opportunties are available:
- Maintain and improve Club facilities
- Light Administrative Duties
Darlington School provides middle school and high school volunteers through their Servant Leadership Program. These students spend countless hours helping Club members with homework and other programs offered at the Club.
The Berry College Bonner Scholars Program pursues its goal to "change the world through service" and students volunteer in projects and internships designed to serve the Rome/Floyd Community. Many Bonner Scholars volunteer at the Club by serving meals, assisting with homework and through other programs offered at the Club.
